Nick – Staffordshire Terrier mix – 1 ½ years – male (42lbs)

This handsome little boy is Nick! He was spotted in a neighborhood dog park when he was the only dog there with no owner around. The poor boy, he was confused and scared, but went with the officer without a problem. We heard about Nick and knew we wanted to  rescue him and bring him to be part of the SHR family! 

Now that Nick has settled in, his “inner-puppy” is starting to show. 😊 He is very curious about life and adorably wants to make everything a game. He plays well with other dogs and has several play-buddies at the shelter. He loves to go for walks and has his own style: it’s called the “zig-zag” walk, he goes from side to side trying not to miss anything. 😂 He’s happy, fun-loving, and pretty polite. We also know Nick lived in a foster home before he came to us and they said he did really well with their dogs and kids. He loves to play, cuddle, and get tummy rubs. He’s also a great size, petite but muscular. He’s a perfect package for someone looking for an athletic dog that isn’t too big.
