Jack – Australian Shepherd mix – 1 ½ yrs – male (43lbs)

Introducing Jack! This adorable guy was surrendered along with Jemma (one of our mama dogs) because they didn’t want the puppies (Jemma was pregnant). We’re not sure why Jack needed to lose his home too, but when they offered to neuter him for free so the people could keep him, they declined the offer. 😖 People make no sense – that’s why we prefer dogs! We were told that he was very stressed at that county shelter and not doing well, so we decided we wanted Jack to join our family and SHR! Now that he’s settled in he’s doing great! 

Jack is happy, playful, and very silly. He loves to play and loves toys. He’s great with other dogs at our shelter and is always down for some fun. Jack loves going on walks and bounces along enjoying every minute of his adventure. He’s an active guy and would love a home with people that get out and about – he’ll make a great adventure buddy. We also believe that he’d be great company in a tent or by a campfire, he likes to stay close.
