Butch – Labrador/Rottweiler (Hound?) mix – 5yrs – male (65lbs)

Meet our distinguished gentleman, Butch! This boy was abandoned in an apartment complex, we’re guessing his owners may have lived there. A kind woman noticed him and took him in for a few days, but her personal dogs were not happy about him being in their home so she took him to a county shelter hoping he would be adopted. After about a month there, we spotted him and decided to bring him back with us. Now Butch is settling in and his personality is showing more and more. 

Butch is a character and will gladly let us know when he thinks it’s time for him to go out in the yard. He loves hanging out in the sun in our play-yard. He is good with other dogs, but hasn’t played much and definitely isn’t a rough and tumble kinda guy. He absolutely LOVES attention from people and his main goal is to be close so he can get lots of love. Butch is very polite, happy, easy-going, and great company. He loves to go for walks and is pretty good on a leash. We also believe he’s housebroken because he doesn't have accidents in his kennel area. This handsome boy would do great in a home with a calm dog and/or kids. He doesn't need a ton of activity and is mostly just happy to just hang out.
